This 1973 De Tomaso Pantera is a real beauty with 31k original miles. It was purchased in April 2003 from the famous Gary Hall himself. The original engine was replaced by a 5.8L/351/392 CID 430 HP GT-40 Aluminum Head Ford Racing Performance one. The engine has been running for less than 5k miles.\r\n\r\nIt has the original wheels and is equipped with Wilwood high performance calipers. \r\nIt has Michelin Pilot Sport tires: 335/35 ZR 17 for the rear and 235/ 40 ZR 17 for the front ones.\r\n\r\nIt comes with a spare saver tire, a luggage rack and the original front bumper.\r\n\r\nThis a second owner car. It comes with it original manual and all the records since it was purchased on 2003. It has always been garaged and maintained in a 3,000 sq.ft privately owned mechanic shop. It is in perfect working condition, no mechanical or structural issue. It is ready to drive to the Concorso Italiano in Monterey this coming August. \r\n\r\nThis mid-engined sports car is a real beauty. The leather interior is in excellent condition. The paint is original and shows two little cracks in the back that are very common with Pantera cars. \r\n\r\nThe Pantera (Italian for \"Panther\") was produced by the De Tomaso car company of Italy from 1971 to 1991. Over 7,000 units were produced during its 20-year run.\r\n\r\nThe car was designed by American designer Tom Tjaarda and imported to the US by Ford until 1975. A total of 5,500 cars were sold by Ford its Lincoln Mercury dealers during that short period. At that time, Gary Hall, a Pantera owner, purchased all the spare parts available and started a new business selling them.
